The Meetup will take place March 25th – 27th in Washginton DC. This event is for Guatemalan adoptees 18 and older. There is no fee to attend the conference but you are responsible for your own meals, transportation, and hotel room.
Location
The event will take place at the Holiday Inn National Airport/Crystal City 2650 Richmond Highway Arlington, VA 22202. We have a large conference room in the hotel for the events. There is a discounted room rate of $89 per night, in order to get the discounted rate you will need to make your reservation before February 25th. It is possible to join after that date but you will pay the normal rate. Please, email Kendal Zekus after making your room reservation so she can make sure you are on the list for the discount. Transportation
Washington DC has two airports, Dulles International Airport(IAD) and Reagan National Airport(DCA). You can use Lyft or Uber to reach the hotel from either airport. Regan National airport has a free shuttle through the hotel.

Friday, March 25th Day of Arrival, hotel check-in is at 4pm Dinner is based on arrival of the choice of the individual.
Saturday, March 26th 7:00 – 8:00am Breakfast of individual’s choice 8:00am – Conference room at the hotel for introductions, ice-breakers, and discussions 12:00pm – Lunch at food trucks and/or Pollo Campero 1:30pm – Explore DC, Activity Options: National Museum of American Indian, National Art Gallery, Cherry Blossom Walk, Hangout on National Mall The conference room is available until 5pm. 6:00pm – Dinner at Pentagon Row 8:00pm Free time for the rest of the evening
Sunday, March 27th 8:00 – 11:00am Breakfast at Bob & Edith’s Diner Day of departure, hotel checkout is at 12pm.
